Spring is here and, as I do every year, I use this time to put some cardio into my tank. Kayaking season starts soon and there are salmon to be chased but you can't do it well without putting the work in first.

The Delta-Mendota Canal is just 10 minutes from my house - by bike. You may meet the occasional farm hand or fisherman (there are stripers and catfish in these waters) but on most days there's not a person around. It's my playground, a great place to find serenity and to work out.
