I've been enchanted with Valley kayaks for a long time now and when I spotted that a Pintail was on the market I didn't hesitate to buy it.

The Pintail really is a size too small for me, at least this model. The foot braces were too close to me and needed to be removed.
Unfortunately, since the stainless steel screws were cold-welded into the aluminum rails from decades of exposure
to the elements I had to drill them out. The seat is short and narrow and not comfortable. The ocean cockpit is super snug,
the foredeck super low. All this takes a bit of time to get used to but once you overcome these issues you'll find the
Pintail to be an amazing craft
.
